1. What are some of the things you appreciate most about Fayette County? Fayette County is a close knit community where the citizens pray for their neighbors, wave as we pass on the street, give of their time, talents, and treasure for those in need in a friendly and safe community.
2. What was your motivation to attend Leadership Fayette? Being administrator of NHC Healthcare in 2003, it was essential to get to know other business and county leaders that we might share ideas to help each other that we might better serve our citizens, businesses, and county.
3. What have you personally gotten out of your involvement in Leadership Fayette?
I made some great friends, while learning about local government, businesses, and service organizations.
4. How did attending Leadership Fayette influence you as a leader?
Revealed more areas that I might serve our community.
5. Would you encourage others to get involved with Leadership Fayette? Yes- Relationships are so important in all aspects of life. Leadership Fayette connects you with an overview of all areas of the county and state.
6. What positive impact are you planning on having on Fayette County as a result of attending Leadership Fayette?
Community Involvement- Somerville Rotary Club, Fayette Cares, Carl Perkins- Somerville Center, Fayette County Election office, Fayette County Assessors office.
7. How did attending Leadership Fayette prepare you for your current and/or next career?
Presently retired/rental property owner- Leadership Fayette gave me knowledge of go-to places for help and the contacts there to help you.
