September 2021 LF Alumni Spotlight: Josh Tapp







1. What are some of the things you appreciate most about Fayette County?

There seems to be a more friendly and less stressful atmosphere in Fayette County. I also enjoy the more rural surroundings.


2. What was your motivation to attend Leadership Fayette?

I felt that it was a good opportunity to learn more about leadership and to meet new people within the county.


3. What have you personally gotten out of your involvement in Leadership Fayette?

A better understanding about leadership and more knowledge about the county even though I grew up here are a couple of things that I got out of Leadership Fayette. I also met and developed friendships with people that I may not have had the opportunity to otherwise.

4. How did attending Leadership Fayette influence you as a leader?

It helped to make me more aware and to have a greater understanding of my role in the county involving leadership.


5. Would you encourage others to get involved with Leadership Fayette? Why?

Yes, it is a good experience even if you may not be sure about it or think that it does not seem like something that you would typically do.


6. What positive impact are you planning on having on Fayette County as a result of attending Leadership Fayette?

I am hoping to perform my job better as a result of attending Leadership Fayette.

7. How did attending Leadership Fayette prepare you for your current and/or next career?

It gave me a greater understanding about leadership which was able to be use with my current position in the county.
