On Tuesday, January 30, the Tent City exhibit returned to Fayette County. The exhibit traveled to Fayette County via Fayette County Public Schools transportation. Upon arrival into Somerville, the exhibit paused in front of the Fayette County courthouse. Traffic paused by the Somerville Police Department, followed by a solemn moment of silence. The exhibit then traveled to the FCPS Central Administration Building and was carefully arranged for viewing.
Please plan to attend the free Tent City exhibit, which will be open to the public on Thursdays and Fridays throughout February until February 23 from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. A free session on the Tent City movement will be open to the public on Saturday, February 17 beginning at 2:00 PM. In addition to this event, a musical performance by the Buckley-Carpenter Elementary School Choir will be held at CAB on Sunday, February 18 at 2:00 PM.
